Summer Foundation is pleased with the recent announcement from the Minister for NDIS, Senator the Hon Minister Reynolds CSC and National Cabinet to expand eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination to all NDIS participants and carers.
As new locations are identified for provision of the vaccine, it is essential that accessibility, safety and proximity are considered, along with options to provide in-home or on-site vaccine. Summer Foundation encourages all NDIS participants and carers to access a vaccine at a time and location convenient to them.
From Tuesday, 8 June 2021, all National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants aged 16 years and over and carers aged 16 years and over of NDIS participants of any age are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. For more information please click here.
