Risky Business: Best practice for enabling positive risk
After this workshop you will have a better understanding of how to support people with disability to make decisions about their life that may involve risk, while minimising potential harm.
Evidence for meeting SDA Eligibility
Learn about SDA eligibility and the evidence required for positive outcomes. This session will cover SDA Rules 2020 (sections 12-14).
Justifying the right SDA outcome
This session will cover section 16 of the NDIS SDA Rules 2020 in detail. Section 17 and 18 will also be discussed. Learn about evidence and justifications for obtaining the right SDA determination:
- Section 16 – SDA building types, occupancy and support models
- Section 17 – SDA design categories
- Section 18 – Location factors
Supporting NDIS participants to leave hospital
Learn about the complexities of supporting NDIS participants who are stuck in hospital and how to implement a person’s NDIS plan to enable an efficient and collaborative discharge.
